The exterior detail consists of three processes: Clean, Restore, and Protect. 

At Obsessed Detail, we approach the exterior detail very differently than the typical DIY car wash. We utilize a pre-rinse to remove loose dirt and grime. Following the pre-rinse, we apply a pre-soak foam bath to break down the embedded road film. The pre-soak is vital to reduce the amount of contamination to reduce "wash-induced marring to the painted finish. We finish by applying a thorough foam cannon wash and contact wash using the two bucket method. During the contact wash, we will assess the condition and apply bug/tar/iron decontamination steps as applicable to your vehicle. This process allows for a spotless finish and is ready for the next phase of our detailing process.

Depending on the chosen package, we will start our restoration phase of the detail. This phase starts with a mechanical decontamination stage to remove remaining embedded impurities with a clay-bar treatment. This ensures a contaminate-free surface to start the paint correction portion of the detail. Paint correction will restore gloss, depth, and clarity to your painted surfaces by removal of defects such as scratches, swirls, and holograms.

The final stage of the detail is to apply protection to your vehicle. We only use the highest quality protection to ensure lasting protection and to maintain the like-new condition of your vehicle. Our standard is to apply a quality paint sealant that has a durability of 3-6 months. However, as an optional upgrade, we can add one of the industries leading ceramic coatings to give added gloss and durability starting at 2 years and up to 10 years! We also add final touches to your detailed vehicle by ensuring the glass is clean and the tires are dressed with a no-sling tire dressing!
